Teaching yoga brings me so much joy – it’s a chance to share the grounding, flowing, seasonal practice that’s helped me, and to help others discover the benefits of switching off, moving gently, and breathing more deeply.
Since then, I’ve continued to grow as a teacher, completing additional training in:
- Breathwork, with experienced coaches Claire Davidson & Rosie Lawson’s Unlock the Power of Breath
- Yoga for Seniors, with Seasonal Yoga founders Julie Hanson and Sue Woodd’s Wise Ones
- Yoga Nidra, with Nidra expert Lucie Potter’s Wildsong Facilitator course
- Alignment, Adjustment & Inclusion, with Joanne Ewen and Jae Figures of Seasonal Yoga Edinburgh, to offer safe and supportive options for all bodies and abilities
Yoga, for me, is always a journey. I continue to learn through classes, workshops and retreats – deepening my understanding of how yoga, breath, and relaxation can help us live with more ease and balance.
I’ve grown up a Glasgow “Southsider” and now live in Newlands with my husband. When I’m not doing yoga or nursing, you’ll find me out walking with my nephew or dog-nephew, soaking up the seasons. My favourite? Probably Autumn – I love the colours, the crisp leaves, and the reminder from the trees that it’s okay to let go.
